1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
My husband and I went to a century home that was converted into a horror-themed room escape. I don't do well with dark places. I freaked out. There was no way I was going to open that closet, so I made my husband do it. I'm sure my husband was a little bit frustrated with my lack of assistance but we somehow managed to escape with seconds remaining. Afterwards, he treated me to ice cream.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My husband of course because coming home after a long day of teaching, to a home cooked meal made with love is one of the most wonderful things in my life. Second is apple cider vinegar. Every morning, I add a tablespoon of this in a tall glass of water. There are so many benefits! It's great for skin, when you have a tickle in your throat, and it makes a tasty salad dressing!

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Living in Japan, when I go out to a restaurant with my husband the waitress or waiter most of the time assumes that I'm Japanese and can speak Japanese so they address all the questions to me. In reality, my husband speaks better Japanese than I do, so he usually answers, but sometimes they still talk to me even though he answers.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
As a teacher, I lead my students in class every single day whether it's English or yoga. When I was in highschool, I often took the initiative to start events or bring people together. Little did I know at that time, that experience would be fundamental to my future career. My greatest success is leading a shy student to improve 30 points on an exam so she could pass and improving her confidence along the way.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I would sing and dance in public! I definitely used to as a kid. I love to sing and dance, but somewhere along the way, I developed a fear of being judged. As a Mrs. International 2023 contestant, I have no fear to share my passion and be myself on stage, so there really is no reason for me not to sing and dance in public!
