1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
The life that my husband and I have created with our son is a great source of pride for us. We believe that an environment of love, solidarity and security will not only enrich our lives, but also that of our son enabling him to become a great man.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My hero has many faces. My hero is a woman who often bears a scar through the center of her chest. My hero is a survivor who through her zest for life that was almost taken from her, drives me to share the truth about heart disease.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
My father gave me a pair of gold and pearl earrings when I was 4 with the caveat that if I lost them, he would be very disappointed. It sounds harsh, but I learned to respect things of value whether objects, experiences or relationships. I still have those earrings.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Growing up I was called Beth because my slightly older brother could not pronounce Elizabeth. His version would end up sounding like Lizard, so Beth became a more suitable nickname. Now, I go by Elizabeth since I really adore the name my parents gave me when I was born.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I love waking up, opening the curtains and seeing the stillness of freshly fallen snow. There is an eerie quiet that is broken only by the sound of a pot of Starbucks brewing that warms my soul. Nothing beats winter in the Pacific Northwest!
